The fOX Project is a an attempt to create a suite of usefull applications for UN*X in an organized fashion. With the help of developers worldwide, and with the use of the Xclass toolkit by Hector Peraza, this project has become a reality. The Xclass Toolkit provides a simple and uniform way for programmers to access widgets that have the Windows 95 3D look and feel. The fOX Project extends on the "Windows 95 look" by providing a set of standards to insure good code quality, as well as good GUI designs. This project also attempts to provide a starting ground for fledgling C++/X11 programers (such as myself ;-) by providing project ideas as well as design standards.
